Why is Osama's face/body so mutilated when the other three dead guys aren't?

Apparently, he was shot in the head at close range. Those weren't peashooters the seals were using. They make a mess. I'd also imagine they didn't use just one bullet either. We don't know what conditions were like in that house. Was it dark? Did they hit him in the body too?
